HUD Releases New Guidelines Related to Reasonable Modifications
Earlier this week HUD and the Department of Justice released new guidelines related to the rights of persons with disabilities to make reasonable modifications to units and common elements. The new guidelines are in the form of questions and answers and address such issues as whether an association can require a specific contractor, or special liability insurance.
